Creating the Base of the Bag

  • Begin with a magic ring
  • Work 11 single crochet stitches into the magic ring
  • Pull yarn to close the magic ring
  • Work two single crochet stitches into each of the 11 stitches (total 24 stitches)
  • Work one single crochet into each of the 24 stitches
  • Repeat pattern: one increase, one single crochet (total 36 stitches)
