Crochet Tulip Tote Bag

Materials
- 2 cm thick t-shirt yarn in three colors (pink, green, and white)
- Yarn needle
- Size 6 crochet hook

Base of the Bag
- Start with the main color (pink) and make a slip knot
- Chain 27 stitches
- Work in the back bumps of the chain, starting from the second bump from the hook. Make 26 single crochet stitches
- Chain one for height and turn the work
- Work in the second chain, taking the top loop of the stitch. Make single crochet stitches, taking one loop from the top of the stitch and one from the back
- Continue making single crochet stitches for a total of five rows
Body of the Bag
- Make single crochet stitches around the entire base with five stitches on each short side and 26 on each long side
- Add an increase (single crochet, chain one, single crochet) in each of the four corners
- Ensure the total number of stitches around the base is 66
- Continue working in a spiral, making single crochet stitches in the center of each stitch from the previous row
- Make a total of 13 rows of single crochet stitches for the body of the bag
Tulip Design
- First Row of Leaves: Switch to green yarn. In the stitch where the last row ended, make a slip stitch. Chain five (three for height and two for space). Make a double crochet in the same stitch
- Skip two stitches and make a double crochet, chain two, and another double crochet in the third stitch
- Repeat the pattern around the bag
- First Row of Tulips: Switch to white yarn. In the chain-two spaces between green stitches, make a puff stitch
